Implants are made out of biocompatible titanium. We select this material because it fuses with the surrounding jawbone tissue to stimulate bone growth. This helps provide durability and stability to your implant, as well as helping to replace bone tissue that may have been damaged or lost.
Do you offer sedation?
Yes, we offer sedation to patients undergoing implant surgery. This ensures a painless and relaxing experience, as well as helping ease any anxiety prior to your procedure.
How many appointments will it take to get dental implants?
You can expect to visit our office 3-4 times during your dental implant treatment experience. The full process includes your initial free consultation, treatment planning, implant surgery, artificial tooth placement, and follow-ups to check on your progress.
Are dental implants expensive?
We know the cost of dental implants is an important part of creating a complete plan that works for you. The cost of dental implant services involves several critical factors unique to each patient. A fee quoted without careful evaluation and treatment planning may not only be incomplete, but doesn't consider what's best for your mouth as an individual. Dr. Lesueur customizes your treatment plan after careful evaluation of your current oral conditions, needs, wants, and budget.
Do dental implants hurt?
Getting an implant involves a minor surgical procedure, during which your dentist will insert the implants into your jawbone. Some swelling, bleeding, and discomfort following the procedure are natural and will pass within a few days. Be sure to follow the post-operative care instructions provided to you by Dr. Lesueur to ensure a comfortable recovery.
Your safety and comfort are our top priority at Lesueur Family Dental.
